I feel very strongly about this issue. People are breaking up at an incredible rate. Marriage is not working for us, and we're all getting more violent, angry and downright nasty about it.

If that's his ex wife, and she sleeps with someone else, it is no longer any of his business. It has nothing to do with him. She is no longer with him. He has no right to be jealous or angry.

This month's Men's Health has an article about marriage and our options as a society. Has anyone else read it? Because he's almost saying what I have been saying for a few years now (kinda spooky lol).

Jealousy and possession have no place in a relationship. There are two people involved, and societal standards have dictated marital "bliss" for too many years. I say we do should start to do things differently... who says we should be monogamous? Who says we should get married? Who says we should claim ownership of someone else, isn't that emotional abuse?!

Just imho, I'm prepared for the flaming. It's just an opinion people, don't take it as a personal attack!
