Hey everybody,
I'm currently on the Central Coast for a few days of last night from Melbourne. But to get here I had to drive during 40.C weather and I don't think think the transmission generally liked it. Now it feels like it only drives in 3rd or 4th gear. Not great for picking up speed from 0-110km Just wondering if anyone who I could see on short notice or anyone who could help. Mechanics, ff members, etc. It's been hard to explain the problem as I'm currently on my phone. Most importantly the car is a 2000 ford fairmont thanks |

We need to know what car it is. If it is a BA, may be the trans radiator mix.

Central Coast autos have a good rep.
Another option is Wyong automatics (back of Tuggerah) |

I think Dave's is more of a generalmechanics rather then a trans specialist(I could be wrong there though.

Yesterday I got the car looked at transmission(no faults found) wise and it's most likely engine related but wasn't enough time to look further.
Generally from what I've noticed more that it doesn't rev past 3500 rpm will probably just get it looked at instead when I return back to Melbourne |
