Flappist most certainly does live in Hervey Bay, as does Nicholas and someone else, I'll find out who that other person is. I live up the rd in Maryborough. Are you moving up here or merely investing?

cheers chaps.
looking at building a house up there for the future, old man goes up there 6mths a year (Vics too cold he reckons) so it will be a holiday/retirement home for the old man initially, then probably look at moving there when I get back from O/s some time in the future. will look into it more. cheers again. |

mate be carfull buying sight unseen as there is a brewing court case from residents affected by noise from extended runway and jets coming and going , some blocks close to it are complaining bitterly.
also real estate agents are talking prices up to potential buyers and making owners drop there bottom line but lots of shifty profiteering been going on with some of the real estate people around here, come up and haggle like hell they will give you very good savings for your trip, cheers Nick |

prices have dropped quite a bit in last 3 months .
Wondunna is right behind airport ,which could give you a good bargaining position at the moment. |

Wondunna runs across most of the back of Urangan & Torquay. It is flat and can get a bit hot. It also doesn't drain very well. There are a few up market bits of it and a few povvo so get advice from more than one of the scammers (real estate agents). PM me your mobile and I will give you a few more details, I have lived here for 38 years and have a bit of an idea what is going on and who is who in the zoo.... |
