Capri guys put vented discs and spacers into the m16 calipers, or go 4-pot volvo calipers+vented......or hopper stoppers do a kit, as do demon tweaks in UK.

I've never felt the need to upgrade the brakes on my Escorts....to be honest the standard brakes are fine if working correctly and not overworked....I even run my track car on standard brakes and it seems to hold up ok over 10-12 laps.
Having said that, I owned a race cortina briefly last year with a really good brake set-up consisting of vented capri rotors, Volvo 4-pots and skyline rear discs as already stated and it was an excellent setup.....pity it was only stopping a x-flow!!! Well worth doing your research on these conversions, however I'd probably steer clear of the hoppers kits as they require bigger rims.....not a good look on an Escort, IMO. |

I have heard that R32 calipers only require a custom mounting bracket a piece of 6mm flat steel was mentioned just needed to be cut to size etc.
