The below was on red book site:

Red Book AU

2004 FORD FIESTA

WP LX Hatchback 3dr Man 5sp 1.6i
Prices based on km 15,000 - 20,000
Trade in price guide* $8,100 - $9,400
National average price - private sale* $10,100 - $12,400
Price when new (RRP) $14,490

I would have no idea if these prices start to vary depending on certain cars fitted with certain options.

Good luck with your sale

redbook is the calculate values, not what they sell for its all about suply and demand.

redbook doesnt take in to consideration not many are being sold 2nd hand and that quite a few people want them.

also the cost of fuel and people down grading cars

im going to get a s15 200sx and red book thinks they are around

2001 NISSAN 200SX

S15 Spec S Coupe 2dr Man 6sp 2.0T
Prices based on km 40,000 - 60,000
Trade in price guide* $17,600 - $20,100
National average price - private sale* $21,500 - $25,100
Price when new (RRP) $40,990

now i can tell you for a fact you wont get a decent one for under 25k you lookign more around the 30k mark if you can even find one and its manual and its the colour you want.

I see what you mean. I guess it all depends on demand.
BTW Very nice choice of car you're going for! Let us know how you go with the new car as well
