Paul Walker was not killed on impact but was burned alive in the Porsche GT that crashed after hitting a light pole on Saturday, the Los Angeles County Coroner's report has found.
The finding comes as new CCTV footage recorded near the crash reveals that the fire that ultimately killed the 40-year-old Hollywood actor did not start until one minute after the impact. A source inside the Coroner's office told TMZ that Walker died from the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries but the man behind the wheel, 38-year-old Roger Rodas, was killed by the impact. Toxicology reports will not be ready for six to eight weeks, but the pair were both positively identified using dental records. The news comes as Universal Pictures announced that production for Fast & Furious 7 has officially been put on hiatus. "Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers," the studio said in a statement. My comment : What a horrible way to go...Bet you are chatting with Steve McQueen...RIP

The CCTV footage I seen of the crash didn't show the exact impact as it was hidden by trees however you see the red flash of the fast moving Porsche between them about 1/2 a second before a massive fire ball of smoke and fire erupts in the sky possibly 2 to 3 story's high. I read yesterday that the Porsche was being temprimeantle on the day of the accident as one of Rodgers workers where trying to manouvour it around the workshop which ended up with Rodger taking over. This could just be how they where? Temprimeantle race car not use to anything but flat out? Like stated above though accidents happen unfortunately. Nothing can bring either of them back. RIP guys.
Cheers Ryan

Paul Walker died after the speeding Porsche in which he was riding hydroplaned on reflective plastic markers in the street ... at least that's what his family and accident reconstruction experts believe.
Sources close to Paul's family tell TMZ ... the family has been in touch with stunt experts who have gone to the crash site and come back with what they believe is a solid theory -- a speeding car that hits the plastic markers -- called Botts' Dots -- will hydroplane, causing the driver to lose control. _ We've learned the experts have told the family ... a car going speeds approaching 90 MPH will lose traction after hitting a series of Botts' Dots. It's akin to driving on ice -- and control is further compromised by the fact that the Porsche was outfitted with special racing tires that have very little tread. And there's this ... Porsche sent out a memo to dealers back in 2004, warning about control problems with the Carrera GT, saying, "This vehicle cannot drive over a Foster Beer can that is lying on its side. It will crush the can and damage the carbon fiber under panels," adding, "You need to be aware of what type of road surface you are on (dips, pot holes, seam heights, etc.)." Law enforcement sources say they have not concluded the exact cause of the accident, but it appears they're looking at the Botts' Dots ... as a viable theory for triggering the fatal crash. thanks for sharing csv8.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there seams to be a few holes in the investigation by stunt experts. I understand that the "Bott's Dots" provide a different surface that bay be smoother than a normal road surface, bit I think you would need a hell of a lot of them to make a car loose control. IMO a car with sticky semi slick race tyres would have far more grip on a dry road than normal street tyres with "more tread" I don't think more tread would have helped give it grip crossing a line of lane markers, unless the road was wet. As for the beer can theory, those fosters cans must be made out of super strong aluminium to damage carbon fibre, & does this mean that its ok to run over VB cans instead |

God, to imagine even being alive long enough to have to take a few of your last few breaths before you expire with as much burns and fractures as he would have would be absolutely agonising last moments. RIP Paul Walker..
