Australia's Quickest Harley's Heading To Victoria 21/01/06

Current National Top Bike Champion Brett ?The Boss' Stevens will be bringing the quickest Harley Davidson motorcycles ever in Australia, his two Jack Daniel's Racing Nitro Harley's, to Victoria to lay down some rubber at the 3rd Annual Heathcote Harley Drags at Heathcote Park Raceway on Saturday January 21.

Stevens and teammate Troy McLean will be among the headline names appearing at the event as they man handle their 800 horsepower two wheeled beasts down the quarter mile.

"This is a great opportunity for the motorsport fans of Victoria to get a taste of what top line professional Drag Racing is all about," Stevens said.

"There is expected to be a full field of the countries best Top Fuel Bikes doing battle throughout the day as well as various other motorcycle categories racing."

"While it is not actually a Championship round for us it doesn't mean we
will be backing off, I will be flying in my entire Bike crew from
Brisbane for the event and will be gunning for a Jack Daniel's Racing
1-2 result with myself and Troy (McLean)."

"We will be approaching this meet just like any other we race at and that's to win."

"And if the conditions are right we may also give the track records a shake as well."

Stevens is an icon in Australian Drag Racing, piloting his Nitro Harley for 15 years in the Top Bike bracket of the Australian Nationals Drag Racing Association Championship.

He has set numerous World Records since taking up the sport professionally and in 2004 his long-standing commitment and dedication also saw him honored as one of the inaugural inductees into the Australian Motorcycle Hall of Fame alongside Mick Doohan.

In 2005 Stevens won the Australian Top Bike Championship with teammate McLean runner up.

The Jack Daniel's Racing bikes run on Nitro Methane and power down the quarter mile drag strip in 6.5 seconds at over 215 mph (347 kph). As well as witnessing these insane machines, the Heathcote Harley Drags will also have various other categories of drag racing motorcycles and dirt drags for spectators.

For your chance to meet Stevens and the Jack Daniel's Racing team, they will be available throughout the day at the events for an autograph and to get some merchandise and memorabilia.
