After stumps on the first day, Bangladesh are 5/355.
http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/bdes...rtype=frameset I know it's only day 1, but full credit to the boys from Bangladesh, they are putting up more of a fight then South Africa. Hopefully they will soon emerge as a quality cricket team.

Always great to see the TRUE underdog teams play competitively, and even moreso when they have a win. Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and the like.
For the record, Sri Lanka and South Africa can kiss my recently waxed ИИИИ. :

They have Dave Whatmore as coach now. Look what Mr Whatmore did with the Sri Lankan Cricket team back in the late 90's. Took a relatively okay team (being kind) and turned them into One Day World Champions, when they won the Wold Cup beating Australia. He'll do the same with the Bangladeshees no doubt.

Looks very evenly poised, although in the cricinfo commentary they said the pitch was offering absolutely nothing for the bowlers. If we can get them out for around 400 we'll probably go on to make about 600. Well done to the Bangli's so far.
P.S Great to see Dizzy back there and being our best bowler, I hope he keeps his place.

man seriously though, warne was getting smashed. I wonder how the sth africans feel watching that??
warne going for more than 5 an over is just not normal, on any pitch(even though its a ripper of a batting strip).. They were 1 for 230 so the aussies have clawed it back a little.

This is unbelievable, 3/52, if we lose this we will never live it down. I agree that it doesn't make SA look very good though BOOSTDEF.

Aussies are getting spanked... This is not good. Although, you would expect Warne and Macgill to spin themselves silly in the 2nd innings for the BangersandMashies....

5/83. I didnt think Australia could sink to any lower levels after the one-day loss to Bangladesh before the Ashes series, could this be it? Australia is going to struggle to make the follow-on, let alone post a competitive score.
