Default The Ford Simulator

In a perfect world, I could possibly even get away with posting this in the Pub, but I figure it's probably best to leave it here rather than anyone else.

I won't say much, other than I was searching for some old school games (just for something different) and came across this. There's a short description at the bottom, that'll explain moreso.

Commander Keen, 1, 2 and 3
Accolade Grand Prix
Annother game called Gumboots
Cant remember the rest

on the 586 we had
Jazzy Jack Rabbit
Need For Speed SE
Myst
Keen Dreams
Gameboy Emulator with Various games
And other DOS games i downloaded off the Internet

just been doing a bit of reading on it... seems it's open source, and very much under development currently....

in one of the forums, they are saying that maybe there will be an aussie version of it, with Mad max's interceptor as one of the 'kings'

Haha. I loved the Larry games.

And I've had that Street Rod 3 website in my favourites for a while now, havent downloaded anything though. I should now though, seeing as we're finally off Dial-Up.

downloaded the street rods 3 game and it is very ford biased, 351 into a gm wtf, and can only drag race that not much fun either, but definetly a step above the original for detail.

OMG! Street Rods, we used to play this game all the time in high school, so many memories. It was the only game we could get to work on the computers as it could fit onto a disk.

Hehe these games seem light years away from stuff I'm driving virtually these days. For example, V8 Supercars series or more recently GT Legends are quantum leaps forward. However, I do have a fondness for the older games, they bring back a lot of memories. Men were men and games were rudimentary back then. None of this 3d accelerated, 5.1 digital audio, multiplayer nonsense! : :

There's only a few cars and parts and things in the game at the minute because it's still in development. The download from the website is only a demo to give you a taste of what's to come.
