EBSXR6: that is a fantastic set of images from 1938; a great find. It's almost a panoramic view inside a very large dealership building and shows some very interesting Fords. The zoom facility allows very good close-up views of particular cars. I will look more closely later. Thanks.

When Ford first started building cars in Australia in 1925, the first vehicles were assembled at the old Dalgetys wool stores in geelong.

Is this the same Dalgety's?

Wow fantastic shots, must have been promo shots as there was not a spec of dirt or oil anywhere. Very impressive set up for the time.

The info with the pics says that the building was built in 1937 and I can't see any 1938 Fords. The two showroom cars are both 1937, with a good number of 1937 V8s out the back. The pictures must have been taken not too long after the building was completed (and before it had a chance to get dirty). I like the small CX parts delivery van and there is another CX van, in a lighter colour with no sign-writing.
