Hi
What are other signs that it’s time to move into own place and what can you do to have that feeling u til you can buy your own. What else do people generally experience to know it’s time. Might never get to buy or it could be a long time especially being on income support which am stuck on due to a condition and sometimes want own place even if its to stay at and storage for trailers and everything and dont want to pay all this money in rent and not be able to do what you want to place (atleast do what ex boss did with her apartment where you go stay). How do you get the money on income support to be able to stay in cabins now and then for atleast 3 nights as often as you can afford. one reason for wondering is yard isnt big enough to put a tiny house on wheels otherwise there wouldnt be any rush. theres certain times where you just want your own kitchen and bathroom and stuff. usually go to grandparents and stay once a week as volunteer at a school 2 days straight a week and theyre at age where they may not be around much longer and want something else to stay at once they go and that could be at anytime. how would you get accomodation as cheap as a powered site thats as comfortable as a cabin or caravan and as easy to setup when you dont have a caravan where you could just park it and plug a 240v lead in until you get it. not really in a hurry to move out permanent just yet, just want to atleast have somewhere that you stay and store trailers caravans and cars. however you should be able to afford everything as a single and not have to get together with someone to afford things. got a old car that needs a lot of work and being a daily driver it is having to all be done sooner rather than later. also want to ask how do you get a medical practitioner shut down 20 years later after what she did to parents 20 years ago, pretty much she ripped them off and rips other people off. sister is seeing someone and shes got access to his/parents place and when grandparents go am not going to have anything other than home unless paying for cabins frequently and while it is ok if every few months (and will still do that) it gets expensive. dont yet have a c/van to park on a powered site for in between times which may be cheaper, what else could you do to get accomodation as cheap as a powered site until you can get a c/van and thats as comfortable and easy to setup as one and a cabin. for own place am waiting until able to buy and it may never happen or it may be a long time if there is even hope. how would you organise a catchup without being a events manager or without being a boss or without taking on a leader position or head of a committee of a local club or without having to rush into friendships. Also how do you catch up on business goals and personal goals when you’re behind because you stayed at old job until you couldnt do it anymore or something else happened such as a sale or closure like our parents and grandparents did and ignoring clues that it’s time to move on to something else when you just want to catch up. Thanks |

How do you afford your space on single income to go stay and to store things
Waiting until able to buy and who knows if it’ll ever happen and don’t want to pay rent and have limitations You should be able to afford it on single income |

How do you organise catch-ups and gatherings without having to take on a leadership position anywhere atleast before you’re ready.
Also where and how can you have gatherings where there’s a kitchen to prepare stuff other than paying for cabins and apartments. You should be able to afford those things on your own (especially space) and not have to get together with anyone. |

My daughter just moved from one end of the country to the other, to a place where she knows of only a couple of people. She was keen to mske friends, so she jumped online and found a Facebook page for girls only in the area. Just after she joined, one of the members posted asking if anyone was interested in a catch up. My daughter went along (I rode shotgun and sat in the car until I knew everything was legit and then left her). She had a great time, met some wonderful girls in a similar position to her and now has really clicked with one girl in particular.
With the obvious cautions based around online mingling, maybe there's something similar in your area that you could try?

How do you have and organise gatherings when you don’t have anywhere of your own and without taking on a leadership position and what can you do and how can you find more friends the old face to face way when current friends are too busy.
How can you catch up on goals because of staying in old job too long due to financial responsibility and not do what everyone else these days does and look for clues that it’s time to leave job and do it |

is this group in your area? https://www.facebook.com/groups/1772288443074377 i'm sure if you made a post in there saying something like, does anyone between the age of 20 and 50 want to catch up once a month for a walk or coffee etc (or whatever else you want to do that's acceptable to post on a facebook page) you'd get some takers. what's wrong with being the leader of an event? say I have every Tuesday spare between 5pm and 6pm for a local walk or whatever. can help with assembling things or testing out your appliances for safety etc. this is the best way to meet many people you don't have to see again if you don't want to. you can't catch up on life without going back in time. just start doing things you enjoy and either find ways to make more money or spend less money. if you like driving your car, you need fuel and repairs. if you like riding your bike you don't need fuel and repairs are minimal for the time spent. |

we should expect a reply, for the amount of answers given over the years he probably should start trying some of it soon.

doesn't appear like you've tried much of any of the suggestions over the years. 2024 is a good time to start trying stuff, we are out of the struggle of covid, the world is still turning and you aren't too old to try anything yet. if you tried, and failed you'd learn something useful from it. try again with this new knowledge. P.S your "old car" is newer than 5 of My friend's cars and less kms and 20yrs older than My cars. fix the important things first and make a plan for the others. if you can't do some of the work yourself and can't afford it, see if you can help the mechanic in some way to get a discount on repairs, maybe offer to mow his lawns regularly or clean up or something similar. |
