Default Respray Costs

G'day, I've called around a couple of places in Brisbane to get quotes for getting two side skirts (standard AU3 ones) and a bobtail spoiler painted, and the concensus seems to be 400-500 bucks, is that alright or what? I've never had anything sprayed before, it just seems expensive that's all, or is that the going rate? Anyone know of anyone good around Brissy? Cheers, Matt.

Had my hawk front bar and cab side skirts for my ute painted for $250, mind you I prepped and sanded all of the items ready for painting. My estimate $300-$350 tops
Goodluck with it

Mate , all materials and paint you will be up around the $150 mark ... and then find a guy for $100 bucks to spray them

If you drop the car off, and give the guy a boot spoiler, and tell him you want it preped, painted and fitted to the car, $400-500 is about right.
I did exactly that when getting a spoiler fitted to my celica, and it cost me $500.

Although, its previous posts its been said, buy the paint, and give it to the guy to be painted, and then fit it yourself it will be a damn lot cheaper.

Thanks for the advice everyone, now pardon my ignorance but where do I go to get the paint? I need sparkling burgundy. I just remembered today actually about someone saying a while back about how the tafe course spraypainters sometimes paint stuff for really cheap, cos they're practising. For something like the side skirts that might be worth a look. I'll get the spoiler done 'properly' though I think, too much potential to look e. Matt.
