Lights, bumpers, interior. Nothing major but you get ABS as standard.

Doors should be identical. Trust me...

The A, B and C pillar are all the same. So are the lengths of the cars, and their doors.

The only difference which may make it 'appear' different are the side mouldings which on the WQ go from small at the front, to big at the rear.

: WHAAAT!!! AAAhahhahah :

Thats the best one I've heard from you sean!

There IS ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER between WP and WQ save for the Bumpers, Head and Tail lights, and the dashboard. Nothing else. To change dimensions is major major body sheetmetal rework. It DOES NOT happen for a midlife facelift. Never.

And as part of the interior upgrade - a nicer dash with MP3 plug-in capability (now available as an option on the Autos)

A 3 door has longer doors than a 5 doors. It so rear seat passengers can get out easier.

Yep! So true.

But Hyper has a 3 Door WQ LX, doesn't he? And Steffo has a 3 door WP Zetec?

*EDIT*

After some research, yes they are both 3 doors! :

I too was one of the people that noticed a difference.

This pic isnt the best too show but u can kinda see the lengths and height of the front windows on the WP are longer and shorter comapred to the WQ. I have a side on pic of each car in same frame, and the WP somewhat looks longer. To me they looked different.

Ok dimesions are exactly the same, as per Fiesta brochures.

Read the whole post. Quite obvious that the doors are the same.

Colours (of the plastic beside the window... black on WP, lighter on WQ) and the side moulding gave you the impression it was smaller.

If you were there in the moment you would have said too yourself " ohh its looks a bit different" , but we know this is not the case. I wasnt saying that they ARE different.

Hi,

Could it be that the doors on the WQ LX look longer because of the protection strip on the door. It's a lighter colour than the WP.
BTW, are those the optional 16" alloys for the LX?. Looks good!.

Regards,

Rob

My Zetec has the optional 16's. The LX behind it has the identical 17's from the LR Focus.

Oh and dimensionally they may be the same (length, width, height) but that doesn't affect things like windshield rake angle etc, and the WP/WQ one is different. It doesn't take much attention to detail to notice it, just look closely at the photo. Ultimately length is measured from the longest points of the vehicle, and height likewise.

I think that's just an optical illusion, we need proper profile shots really.
