Yeah some of the numbers punched in do look a bit suss. But some of the info is missing, but yeah looks dodge to me so i'm completely with you on the FAKE part.

What did the other plate look like? This one's a bit suss.

I have seen poorly stamped plates before .. I would take the whole vehicle in context before declaring them fake. I would be looking on the inside of the pass side shocker tower for welds and other things before I really decided it was fake.
Edit: Paint code M is Yellow Blaze and that was only on GT falcons as far as I know .. which lends credibility to it a little. I can't believe I sold a better one for $4500 12 years ago : Last edited by XA-Coupe; 01-04-2005 at 08:59 AM. |

You're right there. A dodgy looking plate is just a flag to look for further discrepancies.
