I just bought a copy of NFSUG2 today but cant get it to play.
I've loaded it up succesfully, but when I try to play it, it comes up with "need to disable CD/DVD emulation" or something to that extent. What is my computer actually saying? What do I need to do? Please Help.

Anything that lets u run a CD image as a 'virtual' drive.
ie. Daemon Tools, etc try shutting down stuff in ur system tray and see if it runs after that.

Looks like Clone CD is the culprit. I have CloneCD and ClonyXXL. I may have to remove them.

yep, they'd do it.
simply try ensuring they're not running. it should be fine to have them installed, but not running at the time. if that don't work, then removing them may be the option.

I removed CloneCD as I dont ever use it. The game works now. Thanks for your help

it may be to do with the cracked exe that we use :P

for some reason a few weeks ago i decided to sit down and finish the game, and do it with the mustang. it's a pretty awesome game but it gets annoying how you have to spend money on ricing up your car to continue to the next sponsors contract, so for that reason one of my cars (a tiburon with 4 korean flags on the side for some reason) was the designated ricer. this was my main car though, is it just me or is the bodykit lower than the wheels:
