Default Old Cars Discovered In Barn

Found this link in another Forum I Frequent.

http://www.geenstijl.nl/paginas/mirr...zda/index.html

Must be a few dollars worth in there.
Wish the barn was on my land.

Love the old white alfa!
There is museum at a place in France called Mulhouse, not far from the border of Switzerland. A guy had a secret collection of cars (about 400!) in the basement of his textile factory. No one knew about it until the workers decided to go on strike and stage a sit in. They discovered the collection and now, since the bloke has died its part of the French National Motor Collection:

http://www.webshots.com/search?query...ouse%2C+France
135 bugattis!!
I haven't actually been there but while I was in Switzerland my mum and sister went over the border to Mulhouse to buy wine. Mum brings me back a brochure of "this car museum I might be interested in" Holy crap! if the rain had stopped for long enough I would have been on the next train. I did make it here though: http://www.museoauto.it/ And I learned what FIAT really stands for!

I always keep my eyes peeled. 5 minutes from home or 5000 minutes from home.
That's why I always cruise back roads and take different routes every once & a while.

Though, I've found F-all. :

Look at the interior of that 356!!!

I dream of finding a place like this... must be an absolutely magic feeling to be the first person to clap eyes on them in over a decade.

i would be happy to find one damaged classic car in a shed.

i noticed a few old jags in a half falling down shed between geelong and banockburn. just off a back road in a gully. i always wounder why people dont pull these things out.

there is a few places around outskirts of geelong with old cars in crappy sheds.

Oh i know someone who own something like that. He bought every single model of Australia muscle cars that came out. Yep he bought them new off the showroom floor and store them in his shed on a farm. The cars got little or no miles on them and they are in pristine condition like new.

I can't say who what or where, but you can imagine the cars he has is unbelievable.

Good post and a blardy good link. I wish the repost police would pull their head in. They are 10 times more annoying than a repost itself.

Thanks for the info.!!

I think this barn is full of stolen cars personally....

If it was a legit collection when the owner carked it or whatever happened the relos / friends would be lining up to take the goodies.

I think that the ONLY person that knew about these cars is the person who parked them there...

Do tell more, I would love to know of some missing (waiting to be found) classics. I do remember a few years back an American collector scoured the country and did a huge advertising campaign to find interesting classics. That bought out a few finds.
