Default Guns 'n Roses (if you can even call them that) announce australian tour

from www.blabbermouth.com

Paul Cashmere of Undercover News reports that Axl Rose is returning to Australia for the first time in 14 years with his new incarnation of GUNS N' ROSES.

The GN'R "Chinese Democracy" tour will play Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in June.

The GUNS N' ROSES lineup is W. Axl Rose on vocals; guitarists Robin Finck, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus; bass player Tommy Stinson, keyboard players Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman and drummer Frank Ferrer.

The Australian tour will be a spectacular in its own right with SEBASTIAN BACH and Australia's rock legends ROSE TATTOO performing as special guests.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, April 26.

Dates are:

June 10 - Perth - Burswood Dome
June 13 - Adelaide - Entertainment Centre
June 15 - Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena
June 20 - Brisbane - Entertainment Centre
June 23 - Sydney - Acer Arena

basically the Axl Rose band. but i'll still probably go.

I'd go and see Angry and the boys.

Has Axl learned to sing yet? without a studio helping him I mean.

There is no Guns and Roses without Slash, end of discussion. Axle is a tool for trying to kick him out of the band

yeah axle is a tool. he's wasted something like $17 million on the "new" album chinese democracy.

but it's merely a cover band with axl fronting. give me Slash, Izzy and Duff anyday.

The only thing Axl gave to GNR is his surname!

Bring back the 90's line up. I have seen GNR play (on tv) a few times in the last 10 years and they are no where near the hight they were, I'd have to say they are lower than ever (pre Live live a suicide) and if it wasn't for the GNR name, axl would be nothing.

I'll be there. Even though i have a love/hate relationship with gunners , as in Axles voice anoys me in some songs , but some songs he has sung are classics and suit his voice. Will be worth it to see Angry too anyways . Is Sabastian Batch gonna have the rest of the 'Skidrow' lineup playing with him ? .. cheers.

Sebastian Bach is no longer with Skid Row. He was sacked a few years ago. Skid Row have replaced him with a new singer and still tour in the U.S.
I have heard a few short clips of the new G'nR stuff on their homepage. Not too bad.
The new album would wanna be good, considering theyve spent supposedly 16 million on making it!

Pretty stupid still using the name Guns and Roses with only one guy left. I think he knows that they would be nothing without the name. A desperate attempt to trade in on the past.
