Coil Pack arrived today. Very nice (new ex Ford). Will fit it on the weekend, will let you know how I go. If that fails I will look at fuel reg and pump. Then, suicide will be considered.

Please don't take the 'suicide' pun seriously! Suicide is bad, mmkay.


How did you get on Russ?

OK,

Got the car back today. Much better than before.

I have to say yes it was the fuel pump....

They changed pump and sender and some seals.

Was NOT cheap though, not much change from $500.00.

Just happy to have it fixed.

i have an au xr6 series 3 that wont start in the morning at first turn of the key 2nd turn will start will start first time all day. the mech cleaned the throttle body because before of this problem it was hesitating at stop. new plugs didnt fix the problem and he said leads-coils good. still same problem. he said fill the tank with 98 and use a bottle of injector cleaner. well it seems to have fixed that problem. now i have the hard starting problem cold
