Default fuel tank help

after get the car back after the full tank had to be replaced because of two holes
(which took ford 4 weeks to send one because they only have 30 left anyway
back on topic) car has been fine for about 4 weeks then two nights ago a
large puddle of petrol was sitting under the car. took it to the panel beater that did it,
after they checked everything they found the fuel pump gasket had swelled, they contacted ford and said there is
no special procuder to putting one on.
they fixed it and left the cover off in the boot to keep an eye on it over the next few weeks has anyone else had this problem or ideas
