get on the phone to whoever sold you the rims asap, assuming it was a tyre shop they should have some sort of warranty. i take it they would be copies, not genuine rims?

I've done something similar before with aftermarket alloys - cracked almost the whole way across the rim - there was only about an inch left that wasn't cracked when I took it in to the tyre shop to repair what I thought was a leak in the tyre!

No wonder it wasn't holding air.... and I'd been driving it like that for around 6 months after I hit the pot hole that I think caused it. Didn't notice because I didn't wash that Corolla once in that 6 month period, and did a fair bit of bush bashing in the poor little thing so it was caked in mud constantly!

My zenetti kaotics did that, but on every spoke, ended up in 2 pieces while going around a corner..... Tempe Tyres refuse to have anything to do with it saying I hit a gutter, even though there is no other scratches marks, dents or chips on the rim..
Am still in dealings with fair trading about it. Been 3 months so far.

Stiddy, you're definitely not the first person I've heard having problems with Tempe!

check out WheelMags, our site sponsor. Lifetime warranties, and they are well priced.

Must be an early one as one of mine has done the same sort of thing but not nearly as bad. I'm just going to replace two of mine with some second hand ones.

Honestly the price to have one rim fixed compared to buying new rims, and the chance one of the other rims does the same thing, i think its time to upgrade
