They were the stock fitment to AU2's IIRC. My mate had them on his wagon, wore out 2, put 2 on again, is more than happy with them.

From what I can tell, they offer all round performance and are quiet.

Good price too. Go for it.

If you like the Goodyears, you might also check out the Ducaro (with bubble technology) as well, I've found them to be very well behaved in the wet for a passenger tyre and normally cheaper then the NCT5, also another one worth a mention would be the Dunlop 300E with silica. If your looking at all 4 tyres it would be nice to up the size a bit too as the wider foot print on the road gives better handling and a smoother ride, look at going to 225/50R16, you'll find its the same height and will still fit nicely on the standard rim. My pick for this size would be the F1 GSD3, its probably the dearest but well worth it, failing that the Dunlop 3000A would give you really good bang for your buck and a more on the sporty side without going all the way to full on performance like the F1.

ive had 225/50r16 Fulda exelero's on my car and 225/50r16 Bob Jane Xenon Z1 tyres as well.

the fuldas were great brand new, but were shockers towards the end of their life.

much the same as the bob jane tyres. except the bob jane tyres are damn noisy

I've currently got these on the front of my car, and have had them in different sizes on previous cars. They are a reasonable all round tyre in my opinion, decent wet & dry grip and they wear well.
