Oh yeah!! It was just the best weekend, I'm still buzzing!! My wife, son and myself had a ball. Everyone had a great time and we met a lot of fantastic people. It was great to catch up with other forum people too.

A heap of work went into planning this event so a big "well done" to Stu and Tiny and to the Ford Coupe Club and Falcon Cobra Club. Thanks to John Goss and Murray Carter for making themselves available and always being up for a chat. Thanks also to everyone at Morley Ford and a contingent of locals who put a lot of work in.

A weekend not to be forgotten.

Great pix everyone. Had an awesome day at the Show & Shine, as well as catching up & meeting some of the AFF members for the 1st time. Well done to all involved.

There were a lot of unbelievable sights at the show, these are a couple more. A group of fellow forum members spotted this sight. Yes its one of the above mentioned guests helping to polish one of the cars, and yes he was able a suitable coffee table.

there is a possibility for another or maybe more. possibly bi-annual. the coupe and cobra clubs are interested in more as this was just a great weekend. public opinion would help in this respect

They are planning to have a 'reunion' in Sept 2009!

Love the pic Chris of the coffee table. That was a crack up. Especially when the owner finally turned up and removed the cup off the roof!!!!

One highlight was the drive back from Shepparton! I didnt relise that Echuca was so close!!!!!

Another was the fact that we got there and back with no dramas what so ever, except that there is something wrong with the fuel economy ......

would have been good to see the streets full of real cars.

i bet the town/weekend had a great atmosphere with so many like minded enthusiest there at the same time. place would have been buzzing. ( or maybe rumbling to the sound of a cleveland sympthony.)

It would have been a lot worse if it wasn't a Ford mug.

Yeah, fantastic weekend, a big well done to the organizers, great cars, great people, great location, great weather, what more could you ask for! I'll never forget the sound of that group C XB thundering around DECA with the man himself John Goss at the wheel, AWESOM!

Only that there was someone seling his XB Coupe which is fair enough! Asking around 20k for something very rusty ..... and rusty being a bit of an understatement. The fact also that it was a 6 cylinder body with 'K' stamped on the tower...... thats all!

I didn't know it was only a 6cyl. What made this guy a tool to me was he told me he was selling his Ford to make way for his HOLDEN! Ewwww! - How dare he use that kind of filthy talk in front of me! - Colleen

Oh man every time I hear stuff like this it cost me money lol. My coupe is insured for 20k(motor cost that lol) and it is far from rusty and far from standard and very very far from a 6 lol. might have to give Shannons another call and up the value. Bloody people and their inflated prices costing me money lolololololol.
Love the pics of all the coupes , never seen that many in one place before .

Well it was a rush job ........ A great lot of photos too! Amazing to think that there was only 1 6 cyclinder!

AND guess what !! That wasnt a replica of Goss/Bartlett car either. That was the real thing. Goss gave a demo on the Saturday and blew the clutch, then handing the keys back to the current owners! Put a price on that coupe ..... and then watch it fly around deca doing 200kmh! :

Nice Pictures mate. Only 1 mistake there, the blaze blue and white XB John Goss racecar is the ACTUAL race car, not a replica.
His XA racecar that John owns is a replica made with an unstamped XA GT coupe shell.

NOt sure if "PHATEE" is a member here but just wanted to see if his car went alright for the rest of the day on sunday and if he made it back home without any hassles. He had a few probs on the sunday morning on the way to the show and Dad and Jamie stopped and got him going again.
