Default Ricer Racing Excuses

1. But you have 4 cylinders more than me!

2. Boost isn't working properly.

3. Its not tuned to race.

4. My oversized tacho doesn't work so I can't change properly.

5. I wasn't concentrating I was comparing Milo tin exhausts on that Excel across the road.

6. It's my sisters car and she wont let me race (but I would beat you anyway)

7. My G-Tech says my 2.0L Prelude DOHC runs 11.7 so it's not worth running you.

8. Its too hot - the intercooler won't work efficiently.

9. Oh you were racing?

10. Mum thought my Swift was a safer car.

11. My NISMO sticker fell off my window automatic 50rwkw loss

12. My aftermarket 24 inch wheels won't let me go over 3500rpm

13. My 15 year old Girlfriend doesn't like me racing.

14. I can't my mum is in the car.

15. I just got my P's so I don't want to lose my licence.

16. I don't race SS's you might be a cop.

17. The canary for my neons makes me slower.

18. My blue light cluster blinded me so I missed a gear (in an auto Lancer).

19. Its a cruiser not a racer...

20. Its only a 4cyl but I brag that I beat 6's like 202's

21. These 19 inch rims on my Lancer a too expensive.

22. My 4 15inch subs are too loud couldn't hear you take off.

23 My front mount isn't positioned right.

24. My homemade induction is blocked

25. When I get a tune I will run 11's

26. My Lancer is speed limited to 60km/h

27. My Big fog lights weigh the car down too much.

28. I was running low boost.

29. But my mum said it was quick.

30. But you have 3.7L more than me.

31. My FWD LSD was playing up.

32. I missed 2nd gear (in an Auto).

33. I need another gauge then I will be faster.

34. My Alternator is playing up so I've lost power

35. But Habib said my Mirage has 270rwhp.

36. I missed timed the push button for my NOS.

37. But my 4 15inch sub magnets, the 6x9's and the 50 amps in my car slow me down.

38. I didn't know you had gone all I could see was a cloud of smoke.

39. I don't have the tools to take my headlight out.

40. My sister's cat keeps climbing in the exhaust.

Lol, good work!

I've actually heard this excuse.. it was after I accused the driver of being a ****er when he did the customary Ricer Fly-By (tm) after I thrashed him to 80kmh:

"It takes that long for the turbo to wind up... you should try and keep up with me at 150kmh" :jerk:

If i'd kept the boot in to 150kmh he would have been a suburb behind me by the time he 'spooled up'!

Nah, these 2 i might actually agree with, id never take on a SS, unless my car was so fast i knew i could out run him, and even then, id want to have fake plates.

Yeah the one about tuned above 80km/h I would agree with - one guy once said his turbo was so big that it dosnt spool up till high speed, bla bla bla - well whos fault is that for buying a comically oversized turbo : ?
