It appears to be running good, smelt rich at 1st but after 5 mins came good. I disconnected the batt when doing the change which always makes it run funny at 1st. I'm getting a new cat, muffler and exhaust shortly, so will get a retune done then.Power wise it doesn't feel any different, but I guess the computer/haltech is programmed to give only a certain amount of fuel so I suppose bigger injectors won't change much. They were for when I get my engine done later in the year, but I'm on hols and got bored.lol

Sorry mate, but seeing as you said it is runnig poorly on lpg as well, I can't see it being anything other then a disconected vacuum hose. Maybe someone else will have some ideas

if it was running ok before you changed the injectors, then it could only be something you dissconnected /bumped loose or possibly the injectors you put in were faulty/dirty.did you clean with injector spray before you put them in?Double check all of the connectors are pushed home on the injectors. If the reason you changed the injectors was to fix the problem you are now having, then I would assume that the injectors were not your problem. The hose you found is not from the top front of the tappet cover is it?

I don't know how lpg works, I just thought it ran through the injectors as well. I will have to do a search to see how lpg works as I'm curious now.lol

hey guys...

No i never used injector cleaner first.. but the injectors i used were good!! the hose i found was not from the top of the tappet cover.
there is no way i left the fuel reg vac hose d/c either... i changed the injectors because i had this problem with petrol only i now have it with gas too!

I was so sick of this yesterday i decided too just drive it to a mechanic but on the way the car failed i now cant accelerate on gas or petrol the car is in a side street and will only roll in drive!!!!!!

is it possible that this could be a prob with my CAT ? or even my tranny ? other than being a vac hose.... and i am still trying to get from a friend who works behind the scenes at ford a diagram of all my vac hoses.....

Thankyou once again for your help ppl

how does it run? i know you can't drive it, but when you put your foot down does it rev up? does it idle properly? also, while it's running can you hear any sucking/hissing sound from the engine that sounds like a vacuum leak? It might be worth trying an ecu reset, just unplug the battery for a while, then do the relearn procedure and see what happens
