Default Jetting a 350 Holley on PINTO 2 Litre

Hey all,

My quest for a carbie upgrade still continues and just for the sake of it I'm going to try the 350 Holley on my worked 2 litre. I don't have the money right now for sidedraught webers and don't plan on having any amount $$$ soon. So the 350 looks like its worth a trial.

Now to what i need to know. JETTING - what sizing should be appropriate? Even if you guys can tell me what DIDN'T work it'll still be of some help.

If you need any more info on my set up let me know. I've had mixed reviews from people :togo: - some hate holleys others love them. My engine (when it was in it's original RS2000 and original owner) was running a 350 and it was beautiful.

It's very hard to accurately guesstimate jetting for any engine without knowing it's breathing capabilities. I think you should fit the carby with the jets supplied and run it on a dyno/gas analyser and set it from there. A few bucks invested in the initial tune will save you a lot of greif.

^^^^ what he said. It might cost you a couple of hundred to have it professionally tuned, but you only have to have it done once every year or more and the money you spend on tuning will greatly save fuel economy. Most people have their cars just a bit too rich. Have it done by someone with a gas analyser would be perfect. Most good carby specialists have them.

Hey that sounds like the go then -

DOes any one know what accelerator cable I need for the HOlley? Fairly sure the standard won't fit so any suggestions there would be appreciated.
