Default NSW Bseries Social meet & BBQ - 01/06/08

Since we can’t agree on anything I’m just organising a social meet up and BBQ.

Date: Sunday the 1st of June

Where: Camden information centre. Located just off Camden Valley Way, Nearest cross street is Wilkinson St.
There is a decent flat car park with an under cover BBQ area. There is more parking available on the side of Camden Valley Way if we overflow the car park

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...=17&iwloc=addr

Time: lunch so 12-1 pm, but If its nice weather we can hang around for a bit. There are good area to take photo’s all around and plenty of fun back roads for a little cruise after if people so choose.

Food/Drink: I will provide Snags and Bread/bread rolls, sauce (tomato and BBQ), onions if I can be bothered. That’s right, its my shout. Please let me know if your coming so I have a rough idea how much to get.

There are heaps of servo’s on the way and Woollies/coles in Camden if you wish to bring soft drink etc. Obviously you can bring your own food if you prefer, the BBQ facilities are free.

Hopefully we can get most of the new members to turn up and put some names to faces etc

Yeah I'm up for it mate if not at work. Great idea for a little social gathering, and it'll be cheaper then when we meet at Krispy's.

And with so many new members a meet and greet is definitely needed.

Being a sunday though there might be a commodore or 2 in tow. :

Sounds good, I'll check with the minister for war and finance to make sure there are no plans.

If there aren't any, I'm keen.

Yea mate, thats my ute. The avatar pic is a bit old though. No need to feel under dressed mate my GF drives a XLS!

It might be a bit of a treck but its a nice drive and a good place for a BBQ. I know its a while away but that gives people plenty of notice - just updat us if you know you can come.

Some of the best car's I've had the pleasure to be in were XTs, and if you still feel inferior I'll crack out the GLi and we'll show the XRs who's boss :

How far away do you have to come from Lukep?

Now will you be towing it there with the Ute, the Turbo Sedan or the N/A Sedan?

That is a bit of a hike. Wyong would be a good 2 hour drive from Camden. Camdens on the far South West side of Sydney.

I used Photoshop to make my picture smaller. I think the limit is 100x100p.

Once you have your photo go into Microsoft paint and you can manually shrink the image or do the following. Click on [Image] [Stretch/Skew] and adjust the percentages. By memory the maximum image size you can have is W=100 X L=100. You can see the measurement on the bottom right hand corner.

Any B Series car is worthy mate. That's the whole point of the club.

You never mentioned it was a 3V V8 though.

It won't matter if you are, no body's going to go "oh, well he owns a GT... he must be too good for us" lol
If there's one thing i've noticed about the B Series forum, is that no-one (mostly) judges other members by the badge on thier falcon. :

There's going to be a range of falcons from XT to GT and thats what makes it so cool.
