Tonight I deceded to take the wagon down the 1/4 again.
60 footer ws 2.038 1/4 mile et 14.241 at 96.75 mph. Best 60 footer was 2.020!!! I still can believe it. the car has issues that I will sort out before next outing.

yes.Prior pb was 14.301 at 97 mph. 14.241.I am 0.015 off matching the quickest au time recorded here for the au sixes.

Thanks mate.Its not a big improvemnt but it wasnt backwards either. The car has a few issues I have to fix .Apart from that some more minor mods should make it a bit faster...
It ran back to back 14.2's consistently.

Thanks guys.Funny enough the faulty gearbox worked flawlessly...there are some issue though that I have to fix and do some minor mods that I should have done when I proted the head..I would like to see 100 mph eventually and I am even closer to that elusive 13!!

Hahah yer mate.It was good to have your company tonight . I have to remove that towbar.Also last week I noticed a huge mismatch between throttle body and manifold.The throttle body is choked by the manifold face!!Porting that alone has got to get me down there quicker!!

I dunno mate..96.75 mph is telling me that the wagon is pulling 165 rwkws. To get this bus faster will take some luck or some more power.The car was running rich on the night but removing fuel had it detonating in one cylinder.I must be careful..I want it to last a little ..The only option for me from here on in is to get more power.I need another 15 rwkws.

Nar nos....Its a nice idea but the wagon should go quicker with some basic mods that I should have already done .As mentioned the throttle body is totally mismatched to the manifold.It is not even getting full stock airflow!!

I dont know if I will get a 13 with the throotle body matched but I really wanted to see what time I ran with simply cooler weather..not much difference at all.
