Agree.

He obviously loves it (mind you who wouldn't) so why shouldn't he. Hopefully he races hard.

I can't understand why there's any dispute about this, what's he supposed to do? Hide in his bedroom for rest of his life his the blinds drawn and bubble wrap on all the corners in his house?

If he wants to do it, I say 'good on him' !!!!!

I say good on him for getting back into it, yes it would be easier not to race again, but then again what's the point of being alive if you can't enjoy yourself from time to time, and this is obviously one of the things he enjoys the most.

I will agree with RIPGMH that it doesn't necisserily mean he is a legend though, he is a fair way off legend status.

I saw him on 'Today Tonight' earlier this evening, is it just me, or does it look like he's put on a couple of Kg's since he's been out of action?

Yeah, I saw in an interview that he said he'd put on a few kilo's while he was strapped to a bed for a few months.

My point being, why should anybody judge him if he decides to go back racing or not?

I like how people link his injury with motor racing when in reality it was a monster truck that did the damage....

I dont hate the bloke, but i dont see what there is to discuss. Good on him for getting back in a car, i know plenty of other people that have had injuries in a smash and now drive again, though i do see the story on today tonight as a ratings grab to get some exposure to one of their contracted celebrities....

good at racing or not he is out there enjoying it, and most care about the welfare of their fellow man. I hope you are never involved in a nasty accident and have to get back behind the wheel.

Once again the word "legend" used loosely......
NO way is he a legend but a sportsman coming back from an injury and mind you hadn't won anything of signifigance to date but good on him for getting back in the saddle. Good luck to him.

i think he kinda has no choice really .
the guy was facing life in a wheel chair 12 months ago. on he's intervies . he was very concerned about losing his career . which is almost as important as walking.
he was worried about no tv appearances . his job etc etc .
he is young , and the careers he has chosen , pay his bills .
i'm happy for him , it's not just about getting in a car for him . as elated as anyone would be . he is back on track with his work.
