Default Racing clubs in Victoria

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of buying and modifying a cheap jap import (probably a skyline r32, silvia or pulsar gti-r) to race and was wondering if there are any racing car clubs in Victoria? Basically what I'm looking for is a racetrack on which I can legally, and preferably with insurance, race or at least time myself on a semi-regular basis. Just wondering if there are clubs like this out there?

Thanks for your help

NDSOCV – Nissan/Datsun Sports Owners Club - Victoria (one of the people high up in their organisation is a member of this site.....)

Give CAMS a call and they will give you a couple of leads for clubs.

Free tip - The car doesn’t have to be 100% before you hit the track. A lot of times the performance of the driver is the biggest thing that can be changed to go faster, it’s easier and cheaper than hardware changes.
