Too embarrassed to own a Holden?

I dont really see the point of it as it doesn't improve the look or anything (like a bonnet bulge would).

Just because the engine is also in Chevys, doesn't mean the rest of the car is. Falcon owners don't put a Jaguar badge on the car because they share the 6-speed.

why not - if the owner likes the look of a bowtie (and in my opinion the bowtie looks much better than a kitten with a ball of string), then why should they not

mine has a gt badge on the grill, when it is not a gt - it just adds a bit of colour to the grill area and lifts it. sames as a bowtie on a holden

however, it would be a bit hypocrytical if they like holden because they are perceived to be australian and then put an american badge on it. for looks alone, why not

Interestingly, I've found up here that most are usually accompanied by a big UNIT sticker. Usually saying great southern land or having the boxing kangaroo...

And the other day outside the local Holden Dealer I saw a green early - mid 90's Honda Accord with silver Chev badges on it. Even had the standard Honda hubcaps

I don't mind the look to be honest. There's a couple of VE Sedans roaming around my area that look really nice with them.

It is funny really... because we all want what we can't have. The Jap boys in the US are converting their LHD cars to RHD... why? Because it is to them correct. lol

Was following a VE tonight which had the Holden badge removed from the boot and a Chev one in place.

May even be the same one that's got the Chev grille, because I've seen one of them as well.

I'm just waiting to see if they do it to the cop cars as well!
