hey got got an falcon xf with a 4 speed does all the running gear fit into a 1976 td cortina clutch pedal cylinder etc???

Memory serves me correctly, you've got to change the sump and I think the gearshift is furher back in the trans tunnel using the Falcon gearbox.
As for the rest, wait for other replies

as above. you will need the corty tailshaft and adapt the corty clutch system to the 4 speed. been a while but a TD has hydraulic clutch? and the XF cable
apart from that a pretty simple mod. years ago i put a 2502v + toploader in a TD sports sedan. The donor car was an XB

You're right that the Falcon has a cable clutch. The TE had a cable clutch as well, but not 100% with the TD clutch arrangement. Been too long since I owned one
