Default FPV upholstery

Hi all,

Does anybody have any contact details for the company that does all the trim work for FPV please ??

I have an FG FPV that doesn't have leather trim & I want it to be retrimmed as factory in leather.

Cheers.

Even if you knew who the supplier was, I'm sure they would not sell it to you.

"Never bite the hand that feeds you" and they would probably be in breach of their supply agreement with FPV.

Just guessing though....good luck.

You'd probably be better off getting the trim from a wreckers I reckon.

Any good trimmer could probably do a better job cheaper and thats before you get stuck into supply and exclusivity agreements etc.

Pretty much every dealer in metro Melbourne will use Blackmans Trimming in Moorabbin for after market leather trim. To be honest I would have preffered Blackmans over the factory leather as I know it would have been better quality and nicer finish on it.

Hey thanks mate.

You are correct as it seems, I spoke to the selling dealer today & that is who he suggested to use.

Thanks again.

Buy a complete interior on ebay or from a wrecker and then sell yours.

When I went with a mate to FPV who was interested buying an F6, the salesman said to buy it in cloth trim and go get your own leather done as its cheaper and better quality apparently.

Well yes & no.

The seats in an FPV F6-E or GT-E are basically the same style as what is in a G6ET . . . . . . & my missus thinks they are crap & uncomfortable . . . . . . which is another story for another time!! Has anyone writen a book titled "a blokes guide to understanding women!!" yet ??????????

The seats in an F6 or a GT are more like an XR6 style seat.

GT-P seats are in a league of there own.
