I remember hearing about this, didn't effect me, I'm pretty sure it happened in the North Geelong/Norlane/Corio area.

I guess they'll start driving on the road now, instead of the foot path?

The pole just came flying out of a side street and didn't give way...

What gets me is how square on the hit looks.

She lives in Corio, so well spotted guys.

I don't think it can be saved, check out the front of the roof line. She's pretty buckled.

Oh of course...

My guess is about 40kph at most at point of impact...I've seen how moden cars fold up (as they are designed to do of course) at relatively low speeds. Occupants should have been fine as long as they had belts on.

It wasn't my friend driving. It was a male driver. My friend lives in the street where the accident happened.

She posted the pic on facebook with the comment of having no power for the whole day because of that moron.

I live in Corio and this happened only a few blocks from my place and we had the slight power outage for a min or so but we are on a diff grid to the area it happened

I seen it being loaded on the flat top and was worried it was a mates car but a quick sms found it was not his

sorry to see the AU end up like that as it was a very clean car before this happening
