Further to that, I heard on 3AW this morning that Geelong road ones will be operating by end of next week. AND I think these are the 1st "Time Vs Distance" ones in the state?

I think you’ll find that those particular cameras have been there for some time. As for the Geelong Freeway cameras, they’re still installing them at the moment and will have to undergo some pretty rigorous testing before they’re put into service. This may take some months to complete.

Cheers, Danny

Well it was stated by Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner (Traffic) Bob Hastings on 3AW this morning, that they will be operational by end of NEXT week!

If you want to believe Big Bad Bob go for it. Remember, he’s one of those upstanding public servants that categorically denied any problems with the Western Ring Road cameras.

Do you also believe in the tooth fairy? :

Cheers, Danny

SPEED CAMERAS = REVENUE RAISING ARSEHOLES

That is the 1 and only way to sum it up.
