Default Cortina Project help

hey all

I just picked up a 72 tc cortina XL. currently has a 2lt in her and a auto tranny. I can get my hands on a 302c for nuthin(my brothers out of f100)
What do i need to make this happen?
Auto tranny suggestions?

Do they allow you to register V8 into 4cyl Cortina in NSW?

In QLD to fit a V8 you must start with a 6cyl Cortina, or this is what I was told by the DOT engineers when I first put in my engineering approval application to legally do the mod.
