Not sure if any of you have seen this yet, but i stumbled on a link to a Body Kit supplier who has the BA GT style kit to fit the AU. Here is the link to their site, check out their pics. What do you think? If the pic i've attached doesn't show go to the web address listed below.

Well I like it. It looks well done and the AUI version is well carried out to suit the low bonnet too.
Not for everyone and the stock XR6 front is probably better but for an AUI forte or AUII its not a bad looking kit from my point of view. |

it doesnt look too bad at all, the comment of "yuck" made me have a chuckle......
the blue car looks pretty tough..... as long as they dont go and badge it up as a GT or whatnot its fine... what bodykits are out there really other than XR or T series kits for the AU? not many! good to see something different! |

T3 body kit looks much tuffer and looks a lot better on an AU than the ones pictured above.

I reckon it looks pretty good, and like what has already been said there is not much else out there apart from T series or XR kits.

MUTANT.. why would you do something like that.. the BA front on an AU is an insult.. and the stripes just wreck it all together !
Buy a AU for an AU not an AU to make it look like a BA.. I wonder BA owners would feel if i got a BA, and whacked a AU1 front on it.. |

Give it XR lights and get rid of those stripes and it would look better.

Add an AWC BA bonnet bulge, and you're all set!

Why would you want to turn your AU into a BA mock up? BA's are cheap now, just buy one!! All this turning an AU into a BA is crap...

most people don't really care. if your insulted by what other people do to their cars then there is something wrong. theres nothing wrong with doing something different to ur car, while i'm not a fan of the BA GT kit on the AU, and think the T3 kit suits it much better thats not to say people shouldn't do it. everyones got their own tastes. as for BA owners feelings towards someone who wanted to put an AU front on a BA... well they'd likely be called an idiot, why make a car uglier? :P

I have 2 other AU utes in my area all look alikes, the "kiwi" kit would make mine a one off. But so would SFR ROB'S, if it was on the market. Doesn't matter what it is people will either love it or hate it, as long as it don't look like somebody else's. By the way I wouldn't put the stripes,on mine I'd leave that for the GT'S.
