692 kbps using a wireless router with the modem about 20 metres away.
EDIT: used the oz test and got 1077kbps using a service providers mirror (iinet)

just ran the oz speed test again......689.6kpbs......so there is definatly some interference somewhere.

well i just gave the ozspeedtest a go and got

kbps: 3962.1
KB/s: 495.2625
Mbps: 3.86923828125


using the cable test i got;

kbps: 4626
KB/s: 578.25
Mbps: 4.517578125


both are less than half what my plan is and both were using the Iinet mirror which is also my ISP...

I think somebody stated they had 282 on a 1500 connection plan. That's disgusting. Are you with a Veridas ISP? There are some issues at the moment in some areas.

install both and check for updates using its inbuilt updater, then scan your machine.. i wouldnt be surprised if they pick up a few malware things.. Oh and use the Immunise feature of spybot as well
