Evening all.
So its that time in every AU's life where the antenna has failed to go back into its hidey hole. My one wont go up or down at all, just has the motor whirring away when it does. After having a few searches returning nil results...and at risk of asking a daft question, how do i swap out the antenna mast!? I have a new mast sitting here ready to go in but i'd just like to know how to get the old mast out and new one in. Does it come out of the top? (under the black plastic guard peice) Do i have to pull the whole unit out from under the guard?? Thanks!

Hi UK, thanks but im not talking about the whole unit, im talking about the mast, the actual antenna pole and cord that goes inside the antenna assembly.
Unless the whole unit has to come out to remove and replace the stripped pole and cord?? Cheers!

The mast just unscrews from the motor fairly easy to do I did it and you feed the new antenna back through the motor by powering it up from the car I suggest using the battery with a ground to earth to move it up and down easier to
Do when it's off the car |

Or go to Bursons, and buy a brand new unit. Just screw in your bracket and off ya go.
