Default gps tracking device

what is a good brand to fit in a modern falcon. Has anyone fitted a tracking device, how long does it take to install, and can you shut your car down your self, i've seen some on ebay, but they are cheap. i believe in you pay for what you get.

One thing to consider if/when you shut down your car after it has been stolen.

If it were being driven at the time and due to you shutting it down there was a fatal accident then you are going to have to spend a HUGE amount of money trying not to spend a lot of time in jail.

In the eyes of the law it really is no different to belting a home intruder over the head with a cricket bat killing them........

I also recommend these trackers, work great and you have lots of options when it comes to disabling things (such as fuel..etc).

not really, shutting a car down at the wrong time is dangerous there are monitored systems in comon use in the us where they shut down a car but only while it is in view of a patrol car so they can see if it is safe to do so. if your mother were killed because I cut the power to my car at the wrong time i'm sure you would be out for my blood

IMO these units are not worth having unless you have a rare car. If someone stole my car, I would rather it not found and get paid out. These units are made to get the car back.

Decent insurance is better option to have. these do not make much difference with insurance prices.

but if you saw it flying out of the car park, it'd be good to watch their faces as it dies on them.
