All,
I have a 2000 AU forte which has power windows (Front only) . The power windows have just stopped working all together. They cannot be ooperated from eithe driver or passenger door switches. I have changed the relay and circuit breaker switches in fuse panel and still nothing, no sound or sign of life. Is there anything else i should be checking for ? Thanks in Advance

Pop the switches out of the doors and pull them apart and give the contacts on the rocker switches a clean,they get a build up of crud and stop working.
Its worth a try because it costs nothing. |

Funny how both sides stopped working at the same time, at least that's how I read it!
I'm guessing it's a power supply problem, based on that assumption! |

Try pressing up and down 31 times.
My drivers stopped working and tht fixed it..

thanks all, i have followed the tutorial and cleaned the contatc and switchyes till they looked like new..unfortunatelly no power...im assuming power problem somewhere to the swtches..all other electrical and fuses seem ok ....may need a sparky to investigate
