Default Tail lights

I have a stop tail light bulb holder stuffed, won't hold the bulb. What is the fix?

Default Re: Tail lights

replace the wiring harness
the originals that come with the AU are those creamy-pinky bakerlite rubbish bulb holders that get brittle. The replacements from Ford are about 3000 times better, a nice tough plastic.

I'm sure i've explained all this before, but here goes.
1 go to ford, buy a new harness (no difference between left & right)
2 take off taillights, take bulbs out
3 under the carpet, there's a connection between the wiring and the harness
4 poke it out, there's a rubber grommet that holds it in to the body
5 do the reverse, happy days. a very practical upgrade.
