Hi guys. I'm trying to set my 3v Barra 220 up before I come in for a performance tune.
Can you please advise how big a part a 100 cell vs a 200 cell catalytic converter plays on tunability? Does it make a big difference? |

On a V8 its only a small part. There is going to be almost no difference between 100 or 200 cells cats on your car.. if it was a turbo car it would be another story.
What headers have you got on the car??? if its anything other than Di Filippo you will be hard pressed to make any gain. We have seen customers that have put race pipes (No Cats) on other brand headers with no change of power.. Both cats are technically illegal anyway but you would choose the 100 cell over 200 cell..

Thanks Theo, I'm going with the hurricanes. When I spoke to Chris he mentioned they were a good choice for the 3v.
