Default engine management computer

hey i have an XG Panel Van and i was wondering how hard it is to change over the computer to a later model falcon computer such as an EL or AU?

u cant put a au computer in coz au came out with coil packs

el comp should be a straight swap

why do u wont to change comps?

just so i can get that extra bit out of it, so i thought if i put in a later model computer it would go a bit better. my dads Au goes fair alright thats why i was wondering about that computer seeing the engine is still an OHC

You'd be better off doing a BBM conversion and ECU swap. I wouldn't think just swapping the ECU over would do to much.

And then just throw a cam in it

you would be better of getting a cat back exhaust then changing the ecu
