Upgrading ur BA Falcon or Territory from Base model stereo to a Premium Sound

Hi Fadi75:

I have a BA XR8 premium sound [COLOR=#F80000 ]ICC[/COLOR] that has a faulty 6-CD stacker that won't eject my CDs.

Can I just purchase a new 6stack and install or is there some programming required after the new unit is installed?

How much will it cost to repair/replace the unit?

Hi guys . I realise this topic is discussed before but I need to get some specific answers .
I live in Adelaide and have a 2010 TX Territory with Single Zone and LCD single CD player.
The car has all front and side air bags and Dynamic Stability Control and Auto Lights Sensor .
I have purchased a Dual zone Colour Screen ICC from a Falcon and want to install it , because it looks nicer and we want 6 CD .
The ICC has the Traction Control Button not the DSC button .
Does this make a difference as I currently have the DSC button in the dash next to the steering column .
I am happy for it to stay Single Zone .I don’t need outside temp .
I understand I will loose my clock but we just can’t afford a proper territory unit with the built in clock ( triple what I paid for my icc ) . I am family guy with 3 kids and have bills to pay .
I have spoken to some helpful guys online and on phone who say it “ shouldn’t make a difference e “ – re: the DSC button versus Tract Control Button .
It the wife’s car and she take the kids to school etc so I don’t want to risk the safety of the car.
Do I just swap the BEM from my car and then ask Athol Park Wreckers in Adelaide to flash the new stereo in ?
Will there be an error signal for the lack of Traction Control ?
Any help is appreciated guys.

hi I have a premium sound icc that I got from ba xr6 . have been told I can change the bcm from my original icc to the premium one and it will work in my car . is this true or does it have to go to ford

swapped the bcm and car starts but screen has code error can this be removed

I have a BF ute with the monochrome standard screen

What i'd like to have is the standard looking colour screen with touch screen abilities for GPS

I'd like to be able to plug in an ipod/iphone into it via a charge cord (not aux) and be able to select what song I want off the touch screen

I'd also like it to switch to a reverse camera when the car selects reverse gear

Can I get a supply + fit cost & a supply + freight cost to SA

Great thread, how do you tell a colour screen unit apart from the rest? I have one I am thinking of buying it's out of a 2002 ba Fairmont and seems to have the navigation unit on top with 3 different coloured stickers.

I picked up a colour screen premium sound ICC off ebay cheap.

Turns out the cable between the screen and the back of the CD player was missing and I never noticed it till I went to do the changeover....short story, seller not replying to my messages.....

Is it possible to get a replacement cable??

Hope this is where i ask my question? I would like to add a subwoofer to my 2003 BA, is there an easy way to connect? And i guess i need an amp ? How many amps i wonder ? Any help advice much appreciated !

I have a BA mkII XR8 with the 6- disc premium sound. I am wanting to add touch screen nav, iPhone cable with the filter and amplifier and maybe a DVD player. Wondering what's everything I'll need, how's does it actually switch over between gps and DVD aswell as iPhone and how much for all these options plus does the DVD player have other outputs In case I add a flip down screen in the back later on. Also the job to add RCA'sto the back of the icc is that to support individual speakers or only for subs. As I already have alpine amps for my subs and splits but it runs through a jl audio processor that tucks up under the dash. Sorry for asking a heap of questions just want to know as much as possible before I bite the bullet and outlay the cash.

we can add a touch screen on your factory color screen that comes with latest maps plus 2 years of free map updates, we can also add dvd player on color screen that comes on automatically when power on dvd is activated. we can add the iphone charging for sound and comes with filer box as well. regarding rcas we can modify the cd player to have rcas' out where u can add your after market gear as well. average rough price on supply complete gear around $1975.00
