Wanting to fix an AU II central locking problem. The problem is when the drivers door is locked with the key, all the doors lock apart from the passengers door. When I go and open the passengers door after this happens, all the rest of the doors then unlock . No idea why this is happening and any ideas of help would be appreciated

I would think you need to buy a new lock actuator from the wreckers , bought one last week for 65 dollars, easy job to install , this is very common on these cars so I am pretty sure this is your problem.

It will probably be cheaper and easier to go to Pick a Part and get a secondhand one and just try that, does anyone know if the actuators are the same from ELs as the AU ones

I bought two reconditioned ones from these guys, never had a problem with them. If you don't want fully reco ones, they sell the repair kits for about $22 http://stores.ebay.com.au/STRUT-ACTU...=p4634.c0.m322
