It would be interesting to see how the 300c has improved dynamically.

Australia loves powerful sedans. And now the most powerful sedan in this market is a American (based off a german chassis).

425Hp is a strong argument, combined with unique looks I can see this stealing alot of Fords and Holdens thunder. Much like the regular 300c has.

The 300c is already a segment hero, outselling Ford and Holden instantly. Chryslers OZ only problem is getting enough volume to Australia.

Don't like the 300C in any form... just HATE that damn front end.

The new Chrysler Charger however... oh my lord is that sexy.

OMG....Id get one of those over a GT anyday...but...there is no bloody manual option!!!

I understand they are a cruiser, but still, any respectable "performance" car should come in manual form (SMG etc ect doesn't count).

Still, I will own a 300C one day, I dont care how badly it handles, that can always be fixed.

I think Chrysler will again whip FORD and Holdens a$$ in the performance stakes just like they did in the 70's. (even with a 6) : What an awesome looking car.

Make it in Manual, and I'll take one. Otherwise, not interested.

I think manuals are that pre-historic it would ruin such a great ride.Auto boxes have evolved in such a way that i don't even think i would even worry about the clutch.

I absolutely agree. The ZF ford has is unbelievable.

But maybe I am in the minority, but there is nothing like cleanly shifting yourself. I dont really care if I am slower than an auto, its all about driving enjoyment IMO.

Atleast BMW are waking up, from the last motor mag I read the M6 is getting a H gate manual for the US....

I am a huge fan of the driving enjoyment of a Manual. I swapped cars over the weekend with my Brother. He has a BA XR6, and for the first time in 14 months, I realize that I miss having a manual to drive. TipTronic isn't the same, I like the instantaneous shifts of a manual, but in the city I will never have a manual.

That would make sense.....

The normal 300C v8 retails for about 60....so $15k worth of extras would be about right.

Alot of cash, but whats a GTP worth, about the same I thought.

Oh and while kind of on topic...does chrysler race the 300C anywhere? I cant imagine the aero being great, but perhaps there is some room in the V8SC's for another manufacturer.

Now that would be good ;)

I disagree. Autos are no good, tiptronic or not, for high speed driving involving a lot of turning, braking, etc etc

Good to see a new product on the market. Styling is ok, figures are great, but as I mentioned on another thread, is American built, so sub standard quality imo....

Let's be honest, only 1 in 100 drivers nowadays are good enough to wring some extra performance out of a manual over a good auto. Sure, it feels more involving to drive a manual (if you're on a winding country road), but in most situations, a manual offers no real advantages.

Try going up the Cahill Expressway onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge in peak hour traffic with a manual. It's a pain in the ИИИИ
