Hot460's Secret Project ready for WSID

Had a visit at work today from Rich (Hot460) with his 557cu in (just over 9 litre) money pit. It will be getting its first run at WSID in a week or two.
I will try and post some pics on Rich's behalf and he can answer the questions.
I wish my camera captured sound as the thing sounds bl00dy awesome.

Bigger no, better, yes unless it's ready for a burnout comp.

my mates xy BB Ford 514 cube ran 9.77@138 N/A and its been built for gas and is to be run with the gas in a couple of weeks.

go the BIB Blocks MAn make sure you make some vids

Wow I can only hope we run into the 9's, This engine has been built for gas too. : I have put 3.7's in the diff so we will see.

460 Block, Blue thunder heads flowed by Pat Purcell.
Stud girdle and stroked to 557cubes
Machining and engine combo by John Fenech Race Engines
1250 dominator, Holley 350GPH fuel pump
5stage Barnes dry sump system
Turbo 400 tranny built by Al's Race Glides
35 spline Mark Williams axles with a full spool etc and 3.7 gears. By Craft Diffs
10.5 - 1 comp for a little street use. :
RRS struts and Rack and pinion.
Custom 3 1/2" exhaust from Craig at Wildridge Fabrications in Narellan.
and roll cage, wheel tubs, and putting countless hours into piecing the WHOLE car together from Craig Wildridge and Daryl Grimson( what legends )

hes got 13.1 comp buddy. I think hes running TFS....Ill find out and let u know. Hes going to try the gas thins weekend. Hoping for an 8.....

It use to run low 12's and was to slow. I only wish my ute would run 12's. Maybe I can get the BF XR8 ute running them.... :

Thanks mate. Putting the car on the dyno on wed. then out to WSID hopefully on the 12/4.

I think its around $4500. But I was very lucky, Did a trade off for building a pool for Crafty. hahaha. Thank god..... :
