Default Gordon Murray - T50

I have been watching a number of interviews with Gordon on his new supercar, the T50. I have been waiting to see this for ages. Cannot wait for the actual testing of it.
This car is the real spiritual successor to the McLaren F1.
The video went for 40+min but it didn't feel like it. I was hanging on every word from Gordon.

The ground effects fan is an interesting addition. But it looks kinda silly. Surely they could have integrated it better to hide it out of sight a bit more?

The engine is a gem. Feather weight, and revs to 12,100 rpm.

He mentions in the video that due to packaging restrictions they couldn't integrate it into the engine bay like they did with the F1's two smaller fans.

The sweet sound of a high revving V12. Cut to 6min 10 for it hitting over 12k.

T50 - sounds very close to a TE-50.

Still, a very interesting watch.

Sounds just like an F1 car from the 90's. Just at a lower sound level. Music.

I'm not a huge fan of the looks. It could very easily have been designed 20 years ago. However, there's so much to love about this car as an overall package. Nothing will ever be built like it again.

As for its performance, whilst it won't break any records, it will undoubtedly be one of the most engaging and rewarding cars ever to drive. And that, in my opinion, is far more important than anything else.

Two part YT show going over the whole car and buying process. Seriously enjoyable and Gordon's passion and knowledge leaves me wanting more. Serious bit of kit.

Yeah, feeling the same way. It's like an evolution of the F1, but given the time gap, a revolution is what was called for. If I was requisitely loaded, this honestly wouldn't get a look in, I'd be going straight to the AM Valkyrie.
