Today is the first ANZAC DAY march I've missed watching for years. Last year was my Dads last March (25 Apr) and he passed away on 25 May aged 86. He never missed a March , he used to march in our country town , moved to Sydney in 1970 , marched in Sydney , moved to Central coast & travelled to Sydney to March . Moved back "Home" and was getting feeble , but that didn't stop him , the parade would come down the main street , Police car first , Taxi's for the Infirm ,,,,, Then there was My Dad , on his "Little Red Scooter". Then the rest of the men marching .
I'm Afraid I couldn't attend this Year , Maybe next Year Lest We Forget
