You guys up north are welcome to send some water down this way. We could certainly do with a decent drop!

We've had our first rain over here, not much, just enough to keep the dust down. Wild thunderstorms though, we've been called in a few times at work in the past couple of weeks.
Still warm, this weeks forecast is mirror image, sunny, 18-28 degree days.

If any of you guys responded to my call to send some rain our way, thanks, your thoughts worked. We had 4.4mm yesterday, which is the largest single days rain in a month and fifth largest since Feb!
Mind you, the wind we had after probs undid all the good.

Still bone dry in Adelaide, my hills properties have rabbits ringbarking the young fruit trees, and chewing holes in the dripper systems, I’ve been repairing them weekly for the last couple of months.

Friggin cold in Sydney now.
Yep 10/13 degrees is cold to me. Don’t know how people live in colder climates I dislike it much. Least the rain has backed off finally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Time to batten down the hatches, you east-coasters: looks like you're in for a battering from late this weekend.

Glorious rain in Adelaide today, spent yesterday spreading fertiliser to make the most of it. Came home smelling like a poultry farm though….

Got 5mm, if we get similar tomorrow i'll be chucking the Mrs on the tractor, to start plowing the paddocks. (: supposed to be a couple more fronts rolling in next week.
Hay products are becoming expensive & wont get better for a while. Zero weeds atm which is highly unusual. |

Sydney has had a good dousing in the last week. It’s been less convenient for my work but hopefully enough to penetrate the subsoils nicely.

Hoping we get our forecast rain in the next while.
I spread 2 acres of Malloo grazing oats for our ponies to nibble & fertilizer yesterday & Mrs followed up with the tractor. |
